I've been using synths & samplers since early 90s when I bought my first Akai S950, the trusty Atari ST and fell totally in love. Computers and music making gear have made huge advances since then. As much as I love Ableton live, there's something great about making music on these old machines. They sound great and the limitations mean having o be more decisive about sample choices or synth patches and you have hands on control! Tweaking on sexy old machines is fun. It's a beautiful thing to bring new life to vintage equipment.
